Sinopsis
Sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam yang berbentuk pesantren, Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor mendidik santrinya dengan pendidikan yang holistik, total dan menyeluruh. Pendidikan yang diberikan kepada santri adalah pendidikan kehidupan itu sendiri. Kehidupan yang islami, bersih, mulia sesuai dengan fithrah yang diberikan Allah SWT pada diri manusia. Pendidikan yang mengajari dan melatih mereka mengatur kehidupannya, aktivitasnya sejak bangun tidur hingga tidur dan bangun kembali. Pendidikan yang mengeksplor potensi, bakat, minat dan kemampuan yang mereka miliki agar terus berkembang menuju kesempurnaan manusiawi. Pendidikan yang membuat mereka akan mampu eksis dan berkembang, bergerak, maju serta bermanfaat dalam kehidupannya di masyarakat kelak.
Pilar utama bagi suatu amal adalah ilmu dan Ikhlas. Beramal tanpa ilmu lebih banyak madharatnya daripada maslahatnya. Berilmu tanpa amal juga sia-sia serta abai dengan amanahnya, beramal dengan ilmu, namun tidak Ikhlas, akan tertolak dan sirna tak berbekas. Karena itu prinsip ilmu yang amaliah dan amal yang ilmiah dilandasi keikhlasan - lillah harus menjadi pedoman dan panduan kita. Demikian pula bekerja tanpa kosep, akan semrawut dan amburadul, atau konsep tanpa implementasi hanya menjadi wacana yang hasilnya kosong mlompong.
